Protests in several South King County cities will be part of scheduled peaceful, anti-Trump rallies across the state and nation on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.

Groups will hang or hold banners on numerous freeway or highway overpasses, including South 277th Street along State Route 167 in Kent/Auburn and the Covington-Sawyer Road Highway 18 overpass between Southeast 272nd Street and Costco.

A group called Indivisible Auburn, part of a nationwide movement, is leading the South 277th Street overpass protest that will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 1 on the border between Auburn and Kent.
