An Okotoks woman has finally returned home after spending weeks in a Tokyo hospital following an emergency surgery.
Dione Amundson was on vacation with her 19-year-old son, Peyton, when she began to experience severe pain and was rushed to the hospital. Amundson received emergency surgery after being diagnosed with a perforated intestine, and spent the weeks following recovering in the hospital before she was permitted to return home.
