Beachcombers walk toward the San Lorenzo River Trestle Bridge in Santa Cruz. The bridge, referred to my many locals as the “Lost Boys Bridge,” is a historic landmark and popular spot for pedestrians and cyclists. It was upgraded with a wider, 10-foot-wide path for pedestrians and cyclists in 2019 to replace the previous narrow walkway. This bridge is a key part of the Coastal Rail Trail, connecting the Seabright neighborhood to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the Riverwalk.
