JASPER COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the public’s help in locating Charles Keith Darby.

Darby, 28, is wanted in connection with a string of car burglaries that occurred Monday morning. JCSD says he is on the run.

He is one of two suspects. Frank Alonzo Nixon, 29, was arrested by the Laurel Police Department and booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Center on Thursday morning around 11.

According to the Jones County jail docket, Nixon is charged with driving without a license, giving false information to law enforcement officers, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says he is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
