JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - An 18th District Circuit Court jury didn’t need a lot of time to decide the fate of a man being tried for trafficking methamphetamine.
The jury deliberated 12 minutes Wednesday before finding Reginald Davis guilty.
Jones County Circuit Court Judge Dal Williamson sentenced Davis to 18 years with 15 years to serve with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
18th Circuit Court District Attorney Brad Thompson presented the case to the jury.
Investigators Jake Driskell and Chase Smith and Crime Lab scientist Hunter Mooney appeared as witnesses for the State.
