The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office now providing details on the arrest and termination of jail employees.

The sheriff’s office on Wednesday announced one employee had been arrested and another terminated after an “internal investigation.” The office did not reveal the alleged crime(s) or the names of the employees.

On Thursday, the office issued an update identifying DeKalb County Jail Corrections Officer Evan Blayne Wilborn, 38, of Rainsville as the arrested employee. He’s charged with six counts of voyeurism.

No other information was provided, including the name of the terminated employee.

Additional charges and arrests may be pending as the DeKalb County Major Crimes Unit, in coordination with the DeKalb County Districts Attorney’s Office, continues to pursue this case.
