It’s over 30 degrees outside, but the grill at Jack’s Drive-In is working hard inside.

The Spruce Grove restaurant oozes with character and does not look like the typical restaurant of today; that’s because it is now approaching 65 years in business.

On the menu, you won’t find zucchini, rice, or kale salad. Instead, salty fries, big and small cheeseburgers, chicken, and ice cream.

As soon as you walk in the large door with “Jack’s”, it feels like you have entered a time machine back to a simpler time. Elvis is everywhere, on the walls and playing on the jukebox.

All this was started by two friends and a dream.

Larry Campbell and Jack Clarke were school friends and reconnected over their honeymoons in Montana, and remembered their dream of opening a restaurant.
