EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Short traffic stoppages are scheduled for Thursday evening at the Burkhardt Road and Lloyd Expressway intersection.

These stoppages are planned to last 10 to 15 minutes each to facilitate the removal of old traffic signal pole wires.

Officials say the work is set to begin at 7 p.m. and conclude by 1 a.m. on Friday. Drivers are advised to be cautious of flaggers working in the area and to follow their instructions.
