Evansville, Ind. (WEVV) — Early Monday morning crash in Evansville leads to one arrest.

Evansville Police arrested 26-year-old Najah Mitchell of Evansville following a crash along Morgan Avenue near Weinbach Avenue.

EPD was dispatched to the scene after 2 A.M. of a two-car crash. AMR workers told police on scene of the accident that a victim had been injured, including a possible broken arm, large laceration to their head, and had lost consciousness.

Mitchel told police on scene she was traveling west on Morgan Avenue and attempted to switch lanes. When she did, she struck the victim in the rear before coming to a rest near the intersection.
