KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

Nebraska football is opening its season with a matchup with Cincinnati on Thursday.

The two teams were scheduled to meet in 2020, but the pandemic postponed it.

Then the matchup was supposed to happen at the Lucas Oil Stadium, but it was later moved to Arrowhead Stadium.

Nebraska and Cincinnati have met once before, when the Huskers defeated the Bearcats 41-0 in 1906.

This game also marks the first time Nebraska has played at Arrowhead Stadium since the 2006 Big 12 Championship against Oklahoma.

Australian punter Archie Wilson and sophomore quarterback Dylan Raiola took in the stadium before Thursday's matchup. This content is imported from Twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web
