TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Starting Aug. 29, the Pima County Department of Transportation, along with Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC, will begin crack seal treatment on Shannon Road from Magee Road to Puccini Place.

The construction will take place daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sept. 5. Drivers should expect minor delays and lane closures, with potential restrictions on turn movements within the work zone.

Officials urge drivers to approach the area cautiously, obey all traffic control devices and allow for extra travel time. The schedule may change due to mechanical failure or adverse weather conditions.

This work is part of Pima County’s Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program.
