One person was taken to hospital after driving through a fence and falling off a ledge and into the parking lot of the Save-on-Foods grocery store off Fort Street.
At 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Victoria Police says officers responded to a single-vehicle incident near the intersection of Fort and Trent streets.
“Officers arrived to find a vehicle resting on its hood, having reportedly collided with a wooden fence and fallen several feet. Initial investigation indicates that drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors,” said Gemma Stroobant, VicPD spokesperson.
BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) and the Victoria Fire Department also responded.
BCEHS says it responded to the motor vehicle incident at 12:41 p.m. Thursday.
