SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A new mentoring recruiter initiative at three Sioux Falls schools aims to strengthen connections within the community.

It was an exciting day at Cleveland Elementary, as a first-of-its-kind partnership created new mentoring opportunities for children at three Sioux Falls elementary schools where children’s needs are the greatest.

This was made possible by a grant from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, which will help fund a full-time Mentoring Recruiter and Engagement Coordinator to work with students at Terry Redlin, Anne Sullivan, and Cleveland elementary schools.
