Representatives for Hundred Acre, a popular Calistoga-based winery, confirmed they have recently spoken with fire investigators who are trying to determine what sparked the region’s largest fire this year.

The nearly 7,000-acre Pickett fire is 33% contained.

California fire investigators appear to be investigating what role, if any, a prestigious Napa Valley winery played in the start of the almost 7,000-acre Pickett fire, which is still threatening hundreds of buildings and dozens of wineries.
