BROWNSBURG, Ind. — It'll be a showdown between two of the top-ranked teams in the state of Indiana this Friday night during the second week of the IHSAA football season.

The Class 5A No. 1 Cathedral Fighting Irish are set to travel west to Hendricks County to take on the Class 6A No. 1 Brownsburg Bulldogs in the Operation Football Game of the Week.

Both teams are coming off season-opening wins, with Brownsburg defeating Maryland's Archbishop Spalding 36-23 last week and Cathedral handing Ben Davis its first shutout loss in nearly 15 years following an 8-0 win .

Exactly one year ago, Brownsburg handed Cathedral its first of four losses that season. Now, Cathedral is trying to turn the tables on the defending 6A state champions.
