Muir is best known for helming the coverage on World News Tonight. In addition to being a leader in journalism, Muir has gone viral on TikTok multiple times thanks to countless fan edits.

In July 2025, Muir caused a commotion online after he posted a photo of himself taking in a summer day while on a boat. The broadcaster opted for a casual polo shirt and aviator sunglasses as he enjoyed time on the water.

“Is it really nearly August already ,” he captioned the snap.

Many fans took to the comments section to gush over the broadcaster’s good looks.
