The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is partnering with Feeding America and food banks nationwide this September for Hunger Action Month , a comprehensive campaign aimed at raising awareness and inspiring action to combat hunger across America.
The initiative comes at a critical time, as recent legislation includes the largest cuts to SNAP and Medicaid programs in history, putting food and healthcare further out of reach for millions of Americans, including children. Food insecurity rates have reached their highest levels in over a decade, affecting more than 47 million Americans and thousands of Oklahomans.
