LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Media personality Perez Hilton, birthname Mario Lavandeira, asked a federal judge in Las Vegas to prevent him from being forced to hand over materials, which he argued should be protected by Nevada's Shield Law, after he received a subpoena from actress Blake Lively's legal team.

Hilton is one of several critics of Lively who were subpoenaed in the contentious court battle between Lively and Justin Baldoni and his company Wayfarer Studios. Lively has made allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation.

Lively sued Baldoni and his studio Wayfarer in December 2024 following a meeting in which she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, addressed "repeated sexual harassment and other disturbing behavior" by Baldoni and a producer on the movie, according to NewsNation.
