ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Supporters lined up along the sidewalk across the street from CDC headquarters in Decatur to cheer for three doctors who resigned from the CDC this week.

There were hundreds of former and current CDC workers carrying signs and wearing t-shirts and ribbons supporting the CDC and the doctors.

Drs. Deb Houry, Demetre Daskalakis and Dan Jernigan are upset over the removal of Dr. Susan Monarez as CDC director and new COVID-19 vaccine guidelines.

Their last day was today - and the doctors were escorted off property this morning. However, they came back in the afternoon to meet with supporters and speak out.
