ELLIJAY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A fire and explosion at a north Georgia vineyard sent two people to a burn center on Thursday, according to the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency crews responded to Roo Mountain Vineyards on Old Flat Branch Road around 11:30 a.m.

“Two individuals were injured and airlifted to a burn center. The scene was quickly brought under control, and additional units were canceled,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.
