HERRIN, Ill. (KFVS) - Illinois State Police(ISP) investigators say Peyton Steckenrider, 23, of Herrin, faces multiple counts of possession and dissemination of child pornography.
ISP Special Agents say they conducted a search of Steckenrider’s home on the 500 block of South 26th Street in Herrin, on August 28.
Agents say they found evidence of child sexual abuse materials during that search.
Steckenrider faces eight counts of possessing child pornography with a victim under the age of 13 and eight counts of dissemination of child pornography with a victim under the age of 13. All the charges are felonies.
Steckenrider is being held in the Williamson County Jail pending a detention hearing.
