A suspicious device was brought into a shop in Concord, Massachusetts, prompting evacuations of nearby businesses Thursday night.
Police and fire officials in Concord said crews responded to Nine Acre Farm Convenience & Deli on Sudbury Road around 7:30 p.m. A woman was reported to have placed a suspicious device on the floor of the shop, pulled the fire alarm and fled.

A heavy presence of first responders could be seen near the address. Local officials said the Massachusetts State Police bomb squad had been called to the scene.
"The restaurant and all businesses within 300 feet of the area have been evacuated," the Concord Police Department and Concord Fire Department wrote in a press release.
