NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin is welcoming its largest first-time undergraduate class ever for the fall 2025 semester.

The university reported on Facebook that early enrollment data shows nearly 3,000 first-time undergraduates joined the Lumberjack family in 2025. This is a 31% increase compared to last year.

Transfer student enrollment and total enrollment are also up. This is the first increase in total enrollment for SFA since 2018.
