The 13th annual Filipino American Festival on Sunday will be a festive event filled with food and performances from local artists, according to plans announced by the non-profit group.

The organization, based in Ridge Park, aims to promote the integration and unification of Filipino American culture in the Garden State. The upcoming festival is scheduled for noon-7 p.m., at Overpeck County Park, located at 199 Challenger Road in Palisades Park.

Festival hosts Jocelyn Bernal and J.C. will introduce the over 16 local and out-of-state Filipino artists, who will perform a singing, acting and/or dancing act.
