For the second consecutive week, a scheduled high school football game in the Greater Akron area has been canceled.

Revere announced it will not play its home opener Aug. 29 against Garfield.

Revere athletic director Don Seeker and principal Doug Faris announced the cancelation on Aug. 28. No makeup date was announced.
