SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Illinoisians, rev those engines as the 75th Illinois Secretary of State Vehicle Show races into Springfield next month.
The show, featuring the finest antique and classic vehicles in the state, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Capitol Complex.
Judging will begin at 11 a.m., with an awards ceremony at 3:30 p.m. First, second and third-place winners will earn awards in at least 60 classes, with a Marquee Award representing a different car manufacturer every year.
The committee for this year's show will pay tribute to the 1955 Chrysler 300.
