MUNCIE, Ind. — There was a conversation Thursday in Muncie on the topic of voting access.
The League of Women Voters hosted the event to discuss bringing vote centers Delaware County.
Currently, people there have to vote at a specific location on Election Day. Vote centers would give them more options.
People got to ask questions and give feedback at Thursday meeting.
"It makes voting more accessible," said Linda Hanson, Indiana president for the organization. "It makes it easier for them to get out to do what they need to do and to vote, which is crucial if we're going to make our democracy work."
According to the League of Women Voters, 67 of Indiana's 92 counties have vote centers.
