PHOENIXVILLE — Gregory Thompson is a Christian, so the Norristown senior quarterback is adept at keeping the faith during moments of adversity.

It’s why the first-year starter never panicked or pointed fingers following last week’s crushing season-opening loss in overtime to Penn Wood even though he threw four touchdown passes. On a shorter holiday week, Thompson and the Eagles only had to wait six days to take the field again for another opportunity.
