WEST GOSHEN — Thursday night at Harold I. Zimmerman Stadium, the West Chester East football team started fast and continued to play at a high energy level to overwhelm Upper Moreland, 27-7, in a nonleague clash.

The win gets the Vikings off to a 2-0 start, their best since going 3-0 in 2019.

Rgey began the conest in rousing fashion as senior Chase Szollose took the opening kickoff 94 yards to the end zone for the early lead. Szollose also ran the football 13 times for 83 yards and two TDs. He also kicked three extra points to account for 21 of their 27 points.
