EUGENE, Ore-- While it was not the outcome Oregon Soccer was hoping for on a beautiful sunny Thursday evening on the pitch of Pape Field, Ducks fans continue to gain hope of a brighter future.
With New Mexico in town, the Lobos would take down the Ducks in a physical and scrappy 1-0 decision handing Oregon its second loss of the season.
Despite the loss, Oregon soccer continued to show promise of growth on the defensive end, keeping the Lobos in check for most of the evening.
