Amy Dowden has revealed experiencing a 'heart-sinking' moment during her recent hospital appointment when medical staff informed her about the 'busy' period they've endured on the ward.

The professional dancer is currently gearing up for her comeback to Strictly Come Dancing after being confirmed by the BBC in the professional line-up for the 2025 series.

This follows the 35 year old's participation in the 2024 instalment of the BBC One dancing competition, where she was partnered with JLS vocalist JB Gill and signalled her official return to the dance floor after battling cancer, though her journey was unfortunately curtailed due to a foot injury.
