The Brenham Cubettes have had to plug players in wherever they can early in the season, especially in the attack.

One player they found promise in during the offseason and preseason, though, is sophomore Hannah Bush.

Since being given a chance to be a starting outside hitter, Bush has not looked back with a great first impression thanks to her athleticism. However, she had to develop immensely through an eight-month position change that showed her commitment.

Bush started her volleyball career as a defensive specialist. She played that position last year on Brenham’s freshman team, which was split into two squads with a big freshman class. Bush was placed on the green team.
