The cold front we’ve been tracking in North Texas will be diving south on Friday. Most of the day looks dry, but by the afternoon, rain chances will increase from the north to the south. Timing will bring storm chances for Huntsville/Livingston by 4 p.m. and the Houston area between 7-9 p.m.

There is a severe weather threat east of I-45 on Friday. The primary threat is damaging winds.
