DOVER — Burgers and fries are on the menu for the Garrison City's south end with a new McDonald's approved at 30 Grapevine Drive, despite opposition to allowing a drive-thru eatery near residences.

The restaurant will be located next to Hannaford supermarket. The existing area also has senior care housing, according to plans filed with the city. The current site is a grass field.
