The works of Claude Monet are set to go digital next month in Downtown Worcester.

Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will open at the Mercantile Center on Sept. 11, according to a spokesperson for the exhibit.

Tickets are currently on sale on the exhibit’s website.

Created by the interactive exhibition company Exhibition Hub , Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will feature 360-degree projections of the artist‘s works, along with a virtual reality program that allows people to walk through Monet’s paintings using headsets.

Cited as the founder of Impressionism, Monet was renowned for his paintings, including “Impression, Sunrise,” “Haystack,” and “The Water Lily Pond.”
