The Patriots continue to add experience to their scout team.

On Monday, the team signed veteran center Brenden Jaimes and subsequently released Alec Lindstrom from the practice sqaud. Jaimes adds more depth to the Patriots ’ offensive line and at center to go with Garrett Bradbury, Ben Brown, and Jared Wilson .

Jaimes entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in 2021. The 26-year-old played in 46 NFL games, making three starts with the Chargers.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jaimes has played 241 snaps at center, eight at left guard, and eight at right guard. He’s allowed one career sack and two quarterback hits.

This offseason, Jaimes signed with the Tennessee Titans. He was released as part of the final roster cuts.
