A dangerous paedophile who plotted to carry out sex attacks on children and shared his 'depraved' fantasies online has been locked up.

Salvatore Zizzari sent sick messages online about his plans to sexually abuse youngsters.

They were described by one detective as 'both disturbing and disgusting in equal measure'.

The 33-year-old was finally caught when he was duped into thinking he was talking to a fellow paedophile who could make his shocking plans a 'reality' - but it was an undercover officer.

The paedophile denied three counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence and four counts of making indecent photographs of children.

He was unanimously convicted of all charges after trial.
