Scattered showers this afternoon
Dry and pleasant Labor Day weekend
Cold front mid-week brings rain chances and cooler temps
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Light showers are moving southeast through the Twin Cities into Wisconsin this morning. Some areas of fog have also developed in valley areas but will dissipate by mid-morning. The morning commute will be dry as southern Wisconsin won’t get in on the rain until this afternoon.
Heading into the afternoon hours, scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder are possible as a shortwave works its way through the area. Not every area will get wet as these showers will be scattered in nature, plus any storm activity that we do see is expected to be minimal given the weak atmospheric instability.
