Former Bristol Rovers loanee reportedly in line for first senior England call up

Former Bristol Rovers loanee Elliot Anderson is reportedly in line to earn his first senior England call up ahead of the Three Lions' camp next month.

According to The Athletic , Anderson is set to be involved in Thomas Tuchel's latest squad after impressing in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest over the past year, helping the Reds secure European football for the first time in 30 years.

The midfielder joined Forest from boyhood club Newcastle United in June 2024 and made 42 appearances across all competitions last season. He had also played 55 times for the Magpies' first team.
