Millions of households across the UK could claw back as much as £2,000 from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) this year, though they'll need to move fast to secure the cash. The tax authority operates a scheme that could see many earning under £100,000 qualify for the government assistance.
Tax-Free Childcare helps working parents cut their childcare expenses. As well as earning below the threshold mentioned, you'll qualify if you've got a child aged under 11, or 16 if the child has a disability. The reduction can be used towards school clubs, childminders and other wraparound care, reports the Liverpool Echo .
