Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend is a raw voyage through pain, sarcasm and surviving heartbreak, and fans are convinced it paints an incredibly vivid picture of her on again off again romance with Barry Keoghan. ‌

Although Sabrina does not name him directly, the final track Goodbye is heavy with emotion. In one gut punch line she sings: “Broke my heart on Saturday… and I have cried so much I almost fainted.” It is an unflinching portrait of sudden abandonment and suggests it was Barry who walked away, perhaps not for the final time. ‌
