MANCHESTER, N.H. —
New Hampshire will see periods of rain with some thunderstorm chances on Friday before a drier and warmer holiday weekend.
Any rain would be a welcome sign in the Granite State. Almost the entire state is considered to be experiencing moderate drought conditions.

Some showers are possible anytime during the morning. Then, in the afternoon, storms could flare up as a cold front moves through.
The storms will not hit every community, but ones that do pop up could bring lightning and downpours. Severe weather is not likely.
Highs on Friday will be cooler again, with readings in the 60s to low 70s.
