One of Glasgow’s busiest roads is closed after reports that a man collapsed.
Argyle Street is closed in Glasgow city centre as emergency services attend the incident. Police say 999 crews were called to reports that a man had collapsed on Friday (August 29).
The road is closed between Wellington Street and the Four Corners, where Argyle Street meets Union Street. The closed section includes Hielenman’s Umbrella, where Argyle Street passes under Glasgow Central Station.
Police confirmed that emergency services were in attendance shortly before midday. Drivers are being told to avoid the area.
