A major road in Leicester city centre has been shut due to a police 'incident'. Southgates Underpass is currently closed in both directions from St Augustine Road to Highcross Street.

Traffic is queueing in the area, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix. Drivers are being advised to find alternate routes for their journey.
