On Wednesday Aug. 28, BGC South East received a donation of $25,000 from the Kinsmen Club of Kingston, which will help the club provide new programming beginning in the fall.

According to Amanda Guarino, BGC’s director of resource development and communications, this is in addition to $100,000 the Kinsmen have already given the club earlier this year.

“This is a request that came from us because we are launching a new mentoring program this fall and knowing that Kinsmen does a lot for youth in our community and that mentorship is a great part in what they look to support, we thought this would be a great fit for them,” Guarino said.
