A man suffered potentially 'life-threatening injuries' after being hurt by his own vehicle.

The horrific incident happened near a pharmacy off Chester Road, in Castle Bromwich, at 3.40pm, yesterday, Thursday, August 28.

He was rushed to hospital for further treatment.

Police were investigating what happened. Pictures from the scene showed a police cordon behind a grey van.
