DENVER (KDVR) -- Colorado is, by the numbers, one of the most fun states in the United States, according to a new report.

The study conducted by the personal finance website WalletHub sought to find which states have the greatest variety and most cost-effective options for enjoyment. So, WalletHub compared all 50 states across 26 data points, including entertainment options like theaters, ski facilities and restaurants per capita, as well as the cost and accessibility of various activities.

Colorado ended up at No. 6 overall, but dominated the ranks in some categories, especially those involving entertainment and recreation.
