DENVER (KDVR) -- Elitch Gardens announced Thursday that it is looking for "scare actors" to join its team and "bring the screams" during its upcoming Fright Fest season.

The amusement and water park transforms every year in late September into "six weekends of hair-raising fun," with the addition of haunted houses, scare zones and shows.

"Guests of all ages can enjoy spookier thrills, tricks and treats with brand-new attractions for both Fun By Day and Fright By Night, plus all their favorite theme park rides," the park said in a release earlier this month.

Arguably, the biggest thrill of Fright Fest is the addition of the scare actors, who are tasked with roaming the park and scaring guests.
