Tributes have been paid to a man found dead on a Lanarkshire street — as police launch a murder probe.
Scott Boyd, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene following an early-hours incident in Kirkmuirhill in the on Wednesday morning (August 27). Following a post mortem examination, Scott's death is now being treated as murder.
A second man, aged 35, was taken to Wishaw General Hospital , where his condition was described as not life-threatening. He has since been released.
Devastated friends and family took to social media to pay tribute to Scott.
One tribute read: "Fly high bro. I'm going to miss that cheeky wee grin. Going to miss you wee man."
