An app that could help paramedics pinpoint your location quickly in an emergency is getting the thumbs up from Frontenac Paramedic Services.

The app in question is called What3Words and, according to Frontenac Paramedics Services Chief Marc Goudie, it’s a fast, easy and could help save a life.

“What3Words is a very useful way for paramedics to precisely locate patients, especially in unaddressed or remote areas,” Goudie said in a supplied statement. “As so many people get to enjoy parks, trails, lakes and campsites this holiday weekend, this app can save valuable time in case of medical emergency.
